Summer finally arrives in Mt. Shasta

by Paul on June 26, 2010

After a long delay, warm temperatures have finally arrived in the Mt. Shasta area.  Highs are expected to reach almost 90 degrees by Sunday, June 26th and are expected to remain in the 80’s until midweek.

The snow is rapidly melting, and snow levels are now above the treeline at 9,000 ft.  Nighttime temperatures are expected to stay in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s.  Perfect weather for hiking and camping!
